Photo Gallery: Historic Hotel & Rustic Country Retreat

Explore our photo gallery for a glimpse of the stay experience at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, rated #2 Top Hotel in Southern California by Conde Nast Traveler’s 2019 Readers’ Choice Awards. The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe was constructed in 1923 by Lilian J. Rice as the focal and social center of Rancho Santa Fe, CA and dubbed ‘Morada’ or house of many rooms. Today, that original structure houses signature Morada restaurant, The Huntsman Whiskey Bar and The Spa at The Inn. The 21-acre resort’s 80 guest rooms & cottages integrate harmoniously into the natural landscape of rolling eucalyptus and gardens, all combing to create a serene country escape.

It’s a place where the landscape of whispering willowy eucalyptus trees, lush garden nooks, blossoming rose gardens and towering pepper trees defines its character as much as the antiques, artwork and architectural detail of its interior.
